what is the em spectrum and what do you know from it
it is a complete range of all types of electromagnetic radiation and you know
what is the full em spectrum, colors and types of rays
colors from longest wavelength to shortest-
red- lowest energy
orange
yellow
green
blue
indigo
violet- the highest energy
types from lowest to highest energy-
Radio Waves: Longest wavelengths, lowest frequency (e.g., AM/FM radio, Wi-Fi, cell phones).
Microwaves: Used for radar, communication, and heating food.Infrared: Felt as heat; used in night vision and thermal imaging.
Visible Light: The only part of the spectrum detectable by the human eye.
Ultraviolet (UV): Invisible to humans, responsible for sunburns; used in sterilization.
X-rays: High energy, capable of penetrating soft tissues (e.g., medical imaging).
Gamma Rays: Shortest wavelengths, highest energy; produced by radioactive decay and cosmic explosions.
what are all the relationships and what do they mean
Direct (Positive) Relationship: Both variables increase or decrease together (e.g., as temperature increases, kinetic energy increases)
Linear vs. Non-Linear: Variables change at a constant rate(linear) or at an accelerating/decelerating rate (exponential)
What is the Doppler Effect? What effect does the Doppler Effect have on light and waves?
the change in frequency or wavelength of a wave in relation to an observer who is moving relative to the wave source. It explains why an ambulance siren sounds higher-pitched as it approaches and lower-pitched as it drives away.
it is because wave crests bunch together making a higher energy higher pitched noise since it had blueshift but when it drives away the crests elongate spreading apart created a lower energy lower pitch noise.
