A particular environment where living things interact with other living (biotic) things and non-living (abiotic) things

Community Diversity

Within each ecosystem there will be unique areas (communities) that will support certain populations of living things

Species Diversity

Species = a group of organisms that all have the same basic structure

The area where living and non-living things interact

A group of one type of organism/species living in the ecosystem

The most biological diversity (types of species) would take place near the equator because warm and moist climates have an abundance of resources for life
