Volume of a rectangular prism
The amount of space there is within a rectangular prism, measured in cubic units.
Volume Formula (Rectangular Prism)
Volume=length×width×height
Area of a Triangle Formula
Area=2base×height
Algebraic Multiplication
In algebra, when two letters are next to each other, or a number and a letter are next to each other (such as 2a), it means they should be multiplied.
Right Angle
An angle that forms a square corner.
Straight Angle
An angle that forms a line.
Acute Angle
An angle that is less than a right angle.
Obtuse Angle
An angle that is greater than a right angle and less than a straight angle.
Equilateral Triangle
A triangle that has 3 congruent sides.
Isosceles Triangle
A triangle that has 2 congruent sides.
Scalene Triangle
A triangle that has 0 congruent sides.
Right Triangle
A triangle that has one 90∘, or right angle.
Acute Triangle
A triangle that has 3 acute angles.
Obtuse Triangle
A triangle that has 1 obtuse angle.
Protractor
A tool for measuring the size of an angle.
