Channel-surfing

The action of clearing a wide area of trees, which is harmful to nature.
Aquaculture
The rearing of aquatic animals or the cultivation of aquatic plants for food.
Red tide
An event where organisms produce a toxin that kills fish in large quantities.
Sustainable
Able to be maintained at a certain rate or level, such as a water supply with a 32% cut in consumption.
Landfill site
A place where rubbish is disposed of by burying it.
Calamity
A natural disaster or an event causing great and often sudden damage.
Lessen
To make or become less or to reduce the impact of something like an earthquake.
Map out
To plan or explain something in detail, such as an election strategy.
Turnoff
A junction at which a road branches off from a main road.
