REASONS FOR WAR

Christianity: War can happen for justice, defence, or protection of the innocent (Just War idea).
Islam: War only allowed in self-defence or to protect the oppressed.

Christianity: War is only justified if it is last resort, just cause, proportional, and protects civilians.
Islam: War must be defensive, just, and avoid harming innocents.

Christianity: No modern holy war; Crusades were historical and not mainstream teaching today.
