Upman-Upme Relationship

A characteristic of a compound word (Samas) where the first component is a number.
Third Person/Entity Reference
A type of compound that suggests or refers to a noun other than its literal parts.
Muhavare (Idioms)
Phrases that reveal a special symbolic or emotional meaning different from their literal meaning, making language more effective and interesting.
Praan Sookhna
To be extremely frightened or terrified.
Gaadhi Kamai
Money that has been earned through hard work and labor.
Gaagar mein Saagar bharna
To say a lot of things in very few words.
Kaleje par Patthar rakhna
To harden one's heart or make oneself emotionally strong in difficult times.
Sukti-baan chalana
To speak in a sarcastic or taunting manner.
