Absolute distance.
Measures how far or close two points are from one another using units such as miles or kilometers.
Relative distance
Indicates the distance between two places based on some other measurements such as the amount of time or money to travel from one place to another
Example for absolute distance
The distance between Cleveland and Detroit is 90 miles
Relative distance example
The distance between Cleveland and Detroit when traveling by car is two hours and 41 minutes
