My students are struggleing to find the right evidence or strog evidence to support an appropriate response. They are 7th graders in a Texas ELAR class. I need them to use evicence that is stong - directly proves the how or whay behind a claim and that is is specici, direct, and explains thinking. We do not want any more weak evidence that might be related but doesn't clearly prove the claim because the evicence shosen is vauge, indirect, and background only
