How to connect your brain/controller?

Connect a smart cable to one of the Smart Ports on the rear of the V5 Controller and to any Smart Port on the V5 Robot brain. When the brain is powered on, the controller should automatically turn on and they are connected Via a Smart Cable.

What is speed/torque?

Torque- Rotational force of an electric motor.

Speed- Rate that the motor can rotate.

Axles inside motors/How to keep them in?

You can use a bushing, or a rubber shaft collar.

Calculating circumference (of a wheel)

C(Circumference)=2 x pie(3.14) x r(radius)

What wheels do what, ie - omni/high traction etc?

Omni-Directional & Mecanum Wheels- Great for quick, lateral movements.

Traction Wheels- Great pushing ability and designed for optimal grip on soft surfaces(foam tiles).

Smooth Wheels- Designed for smooth surfaces
