Use capillary tube to add tiny drops of each solution to a different spot + air dry plate

Place a lid to avoid evaporation

Make sure the pencil line is above the solvent line

What do u do when solvent reaches above 1cm3 from top of plate

Mark solvent level with pencil - dry

Place the TLC under a UV lamp

See spots and draw light circles around it in pencil
