Multiplying Fractions
Multiplying fractions involves multiplying the numerators (the top numbers) together and multiplying the denominators (the bottom numbers) together.
Step 1: Numerators
Multiply the numerators: a * c
Step 2: Denominators
Multiply the denominators: b * d
Step 3: Combine
Write the product of the numerators over the product of the denominators: (a * c) / (b * d)
Step 4: Simplify
Simplify the resulting fraction, the fraction should be reduced to its simplest form by dividing both the numerator and denominator by their greatest common factor (GCF).
