proximal to cubital fold/olecranon to avoid the cast slipping off

neutral forearm, elbow flexed 90 degrees

two points in cubital fold

Where is pressure applied in the second part of an Muenster ACCI cast

proximal to epicondyles

Where is pressure applied to the 1st part of a Northwestern cast? Why?

medial towards radius

if not, the radius will want to slip out of the socket

What position should the residual limb be for a Northwestern cast?

forearm neutral, 45 degrees flexed

Where is pressure applied in the second part of the Northwestern cast?

above the epicondyles
