My favorite season is summer
because I was born in August,
and it feels like summer in Korea.

I’m quite hungry for my lunch.

I came to a very popular began restaurant in Seoul.

It’s called Plant Cafe.

I’ve been here many times.
여기 여러번 와봤어.

I’m excited to get some of my favorite food.

I guess I have bad luck because closed.

all the lights are off.

The first restaurant we visited was close.

but luckily right across the street.

There’s a really delicious French restaurant.

I’ve only come here to drink wine before.

ii’s called Plant Cafe.
이 카페는 Plant Cafe라고 불리운다.

but their food looks amazing.

let’s go check it out.

we got really lucky/

this restaurant is beautiful
and there was no waitlist.

they gave us complimentary bread and oil
which is great because i am hungry.

we’ve got a large menu here
and a large wine list.
very tempting.

i’m not sure if i’m craving anything specific.
뭐가 구체적으로 땡기는지 모르겠어요.

i think i just have to browse the menu
and see what sounds good.

what do you recommend ?

혹시 추천 좀 해주실 수 있으세요 ?

so on the appetizer side,
i would recommend onion soup.

if you would like a salad,
it’s really popular, the basil shrimp one.

on this side,
i would recommend beef bourguignon.

if you would like pasta,
so i would recommend you garlic pasta.

may i take your order ?

i think we’ll have the grilled salmon.

do you want any drink ?

maybe i’ll just wait on a drink for now.

how’s the bread ?
빵 어때 ?

you can never go wrong with bread.
빵은 항상 옳지.

i like to dip it in the oil and vinegar.

i do not fear carb.
탄수화물 전혀 두렵지 않지.

i embrace them.

다 포용할 수 있지.

i wasn’t gonna drink pop.
탄산 안마시려고 했는데
but they put two straws in
so it’d be rude not to at least take a sip.
한 모금 안마셔주면 실례죠.

i got my stew
and it smells delicious.

this is the first time
i’ve ever tried this before.

i haven’t had much French food
so it’s a new experience for me.

i’ve got my wet wipe.
wet wipe : 물티슈

so i can wash my hands before i dig in
dig in : 깊이 파고들다, 본격적으로 먹다

time for my first bite.
한 입 먹어 볼게요.

i’m gonna go with what’s familar first and take the carrot.
