Body Mass Index (BMI)

A type of radiation therapy that places radioactive isotopes in or near the tumor.

Without fever.
Aneroid
Operating without a fluid; measuring by a dial instead of a mercury column.
Apex
The point, tip, or summit of anything; in reference to the heart, the point of maximum impulse of the heart against the chest wall.
Apical
Referring to the apex.
Apnea
A temporary cessation of breathing.
Arrhythmia
Without rhythm; irregularity.
Aural
Relating to the ear; temperature measurement using a tympanic infrared scanner.
Spleen
An oval, vascular, ductless gland below the diaphragm in the upper left quadrant of the abdomen.
Dyspnea
Difficulty or labored breathing.
Thymus
Unpaired organ located in the mediastinal cavity anterior to and above the heart.

Histamine

A type of white blood cell that plays a central role in the immune response.

Lymphoid structures of the lymphatic system that protect the entry to the respiratory system.

Cancerous growth; tumor.
Lymph Vessel
The capillaries, vessels, and ducts that return lymph from the tissues to the venous bloodstream.

Protein substances carried by cells to counteract the effect of an antigen.

The process of measuring.

Referring to the underarm area.
