Standard Form (a×10n)
A standard way of writing numbers in the form a×10n, where 1≤a<10 and n is an integer.
Surface Area of a Sphere
The total area covering the outer surface of a sphere of radius r, calculated using the formula 4πr2.
P(A∩B)
The probability of the intersection of event A and event B, representing the probability that both events occur.
P(A′)
The probability of the complement of event A, representing the probability that event A does not occur.
P(A∪B)
The probability of the union of event A and event B, representing the probability that event A, event B, or both occur.
Interquartile Range
A measure of statistical dispersion calculated as the upper quartile minus the lower quartile (UQ−LQ).
Range
The difference between the maximum value and the minimum value in a dataset.
Reciprocal Graph (y=x1)
A hyperbola graph consisting of two curves in opposite quadrants with horizontal and vertical asymptotes at y=0 and x=0.
Even Product of Two Prime Numbers
A multiplication result of two prime numbers that is an even number, requiring at least one of the prime factors to be 2.
Average Speed
The total distance traveled divided by the total time taken for a multi-stage journey, given by Average speed=Total timeTotal distance.
Exact Values of Trigonometric Ratios
Specific non-calculator trigonometric values including sin(30∘)=21, cos(30∘)=23, and tan(45∘)=1.
Completing the Square Form
An algebraic method of writing a quadratic expression in the form (x−a)2−b, where a and b are integers or rational numbers.
