what did the  third estate face prior to the revolution?

They were the peasants- owned 70% of the land- heavily taxed- limited rights- and no say in government which led to widespread discontent and demands for equality.

The storming of Bastille is significant because they attacked the king's power. They killed the leader and put his head on a stick. This happened on July 14 1789.

-The rights that were granted under the Napoleonic code were the equality of all citizens before the law, religious toleration, and advancement based on merit. 

-The rights that were lost were the  Woman who gained rights during the revolution lost their rights of citizenship- were now considered minors, Male heads of households regained complete authority over their wives and children, and  this was to Value order and authority over individual rights

The invasion of Russia was a disaster. The French soldiers couldn't handle the Russian winter. Many of the French soldiers died due to the exposure from the below freezing and snow driven marches. The Russian people also burn the crops so the French can't have it LISBIG AND ALBA napoleon escapes Alba

The committee of public safety was to protect France from foreign invasion, it was a 12 member committee and it was first led by Gregores Danton, then Maximillion Rosphere, and then Jacobins.

Tennis Court Oath-

  1. Estate couldn't agree on how to vote 

-3rd estate formed the National Assembly and asked 3 other estates to join- Representation based on the percent of the population

-Louis the 16 locked the 3rd estate out of estates general

-The National Assembly signed the Tennis Court Oath, promising not to disband until France had a constitution
