If I want to say something like, "We go to the pool ON WEDNESDAYS," how do I do that?
You need to use: LOS + [day of the week]
The "los + [day of the week]" translates into English as "on [day of the week]". This is used when there is something that happens repeatedly on the same day. (Using the example on the other side of the card) Wednesdays = go to the pool day, then you do this.
How are days of the week in Spanish different from days of the week in English?
Two ways:
1. They are not capitalized.
2. The week starts of with "el lunes", not "el domingo" because "el domingo" is a part of the weekend and, therefore, goes at the end of the week on the calendar.
