Jesus
The founder and central figure of Christianity, believed by Christians to be the Son of God and the Messiah.
Mary
The mother of Jesus, chosen by God to give birth to him.
Annunciation
The event when the angel Gabriel told Mary she would give birth to Jesus.
Incarnation
The Christian belief that God became human in the form of Jesus.
Crucifixion
The execution of Jesus by being nailed to a cross.
Resurrection
The belief that Jesus rose from the dead three days after his crucifixion.
Gospels
The first four books of the New Testament — Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John — which tell the life and teachings of Jesus.
Holy Trinity / Trinity
The Christian belief that God exists as three persons in one: Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit.
Old Testament
