Dynamic Strength
Amount of force that can be exerted repeatedly by a muscle.
Explosive Strength
Amount of force exerted in one quick muscle contraction.
Static Strength
Amount of force exerted on an object that cannot move.
Speed
The ability to move all or parts of the body as quickly as possible; a combination of reaction time and movement time.
Power
Product of strength and speed (Strength x Speed = Power). Often referred to as 'explosive power'.
Cardiovascular Endurance
The ability of the heart and lungs to supply oxygen to the working muscles.
Flexibility
Refers to the range of movement possible at a joint.
One Rep Max
Fitness test for Dynamic Strength.
Vertical Jump Test
Tests explosive strength.
30 Meter Sprint Test
