Coiled tubules in the testes where sperm are produced

Cells that produce testosterone

Essential functional tissue of an organ

Epididymis
Sperm mature, become motile, and are temporarily stored here
Vas deferens
Carries sperm from the epididymis
Ejaculatory duct
Passage through which semen enters the urethra
Seminal vesicles
Produce thick, sugary fluid that nourishes sperm

Prostate gland
Adds milky, alkaline fluid to semen; surrounds upper urethra
Bulbourethral (Cowper) glands
Glands below prostate that secrete fluid into urethra
Penis
Contains the urethra and erectile tissue

Sensitive tip of the penis
Prepuce / foreskin
Skin covering the glans penis
Circumcision
Surgical removal of the prepuce

Inability to achieve an erection
