Presentation
A talk giving information orally about something, which can be delivered using a poster, a computer-based slideshow, or a digital tool.
Outdated Gadget
A machine or device that is old-fashioned in our time.

Calculator
A tool which allows people to do math operations more easily; modern calculators were not invented until the 1970s and became less popular in the late nineties.

Torch
A small, portable spotlight whose function is a beam of light that helps people see, usually requiring batteries; the first flashlights were invented in the 1890s.

Telephone
A device used to communicate over a distance, mostly linked by wires, invented by Alexander Graham Bell in 1876.

Clock
A device that tells time using a short-hand to show hours and a long-hand to show minutes; mechanical clocks appeared in the fourteenth century.

Camera
An optical instrument used to capture an image, basic models being sealed boxes with a small hole that allows light in onto a light-sensitive surface; the first permanent photograph was taken in 1825.

Floppy Disk
A removable magnetic storage medium used for moving information between computers, laptops, or other devices, popular from the 1970s until the late 1990s.
Pen Printer
A concept device for the future that lets you write in any colour, font, and pen type, removing the need for different pens, pencils, markers, or pencil cases.
Gel Fridge
A future refrigerator concept that uses non-sticky gel to keep food cold without needing doors or consuming a lot of electricity.
Keyless Door
A proposed future door design that opens with face recognition, slides open, and has no knobs or physical keys.
Towel Hanger Dryer
A future concept device designed to dry towels and keep them fresh and fluffy, saving electricity and water by cleaning them less in washing machines.
RoboShoes
A designed robot equipped with arms, a special sensor to distinguish casual and formal shoes, cleaning products, and an auto-drier washing machine to clean, shine, and organize shoes.

TCR 101
A self-charging robot with small wheels and a camera that detects messy places to automatically command itself to tidy up the room and fluff sofa cushions.
