Step #1 of crime scene investigation

Securing the scene: the first responder they protect the scene, to search for clues they use ropes and barracudas to secure the crime scene

Step #2

Separating the witnesses, to avoid working together

Step #3

Scanning the Scene, first responder, they use evidence markers to mark the evidence, right after crime committed

Step #4

Seeing the Scene, the trained photographers take pictures of all the evidence that have been marked, after the evidence is marked.

Step #5

Sketching the scene, the CSI do a rough sketch of the different dimensions and locations of the scene this is done after the photographers take pictures.

Step #6

Searching the scene, CSI make detailed searches , they do the searches after the sketch artists, they do it to make sure that they didn’t miss anything.3

Step #7

Securing &collecting Evidence, CSI do this with physical evidence and samples, they do this as soon as possible, this is donethrough notes, photographs, &sketches
