Adverse Yaw
Tendency to have plane yaw opposite a roll

applied force manifests 90 degrees later in direction of rotational movement
Spiraling Slipstream
Left turning tendency in props due to clockwise propellor spin, pushes corkscrew shaped airflow in spiral around fuselage
P-factor
Causes propeller driven aircraft to yaw to one side in high angle of attacks
Hypoxic
Not enough oxygen in lungs (Generally occurs at high altitude)
Hypemic
Normal oxygen pressure, lack of red blood cells to carry blood (anemia and CO poisioning)
Stagnant
Blood cannot move fast enough to deliver O2
Histotoxic
O2 reaches cells normally, but cells are poisoned and can’t use it (cyanide)
Radiation Fog
moist air ends up over cool ground
Advection Fog
moist air moves over cooler ground or water (common on coasts)
Steam Fog
Forms when cold and dry air moves over warm water (Cold weather over water)
Upslope fog
Moist stable air moves up along terrain and cools
Freezing Fog
Occurs when tiny droplets of water supercooled in air freeze upon contact of surface
Warm Front
Occurs when warm air advances replacing cool air, forcing cold air below (clouds, fog, light rain)
Cold Front
Occurs when cold air forces warm air up (Creation of clouds and thunderstorms)
Stationary Front
Both warm and cold fronts meet (Clouds, Moisture, prolonged precipitation)
Occluded Front
Faster moving cold front catches up to slower warm front and replaces it
Induced Drag
aerodynamic drag that occurs as a byproduct of lift, decreases with airspeed
Parasitic Drag
resistance an aircraft experiences when moving through air, increases with airspeed
