Agility
The ability to move and change direction quickly at speed, while maintaining control.
Balance
The ability to maintain a given posture in either static or dynamic situations. Static balance is balance in stationary positions, whereas dynamic is balance during movements.
Coordination
The ability to use two or more different parts of the body together, smoothly and efficiently.
Illinois Agility Test
A fitness test used to measure agility.
Stork Stand Test
A fitness test to measure static balance.
Alternate Hand Throw
A coordination test where the performer throws a ball from one hand to a wall and catches it with the other hand for a set time.
Reactions
Time taken to start reacting to a stimulus; measured using a ruler drop test.
Timing
Not defined, but is a skill-related fitness component.
