Unconscious Bias

Social stereotypes about certain groups of people that individuals form outside their conscious awareness.

Quota Policies

Regulations that set a minimum requirement for the representation of certain groups in the workforce.

Meritocracy

A system in which advancement is based on individual ability or achievement rather than on group identity.

The Equality Act (2010)

A legislation that provides a legal framework to protect the rights of individuals and promote equality.

Health Checks

Assessments to monitor and promote physical health among employees.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

A business model that helps a company be socially accountable to itself, its stakeholders, and the public.

Ergonomics

The science of designing the workplace, keeping in mind the capabilities and limitations of the worker.

Active Listening
