Controls lateral eye movement (looking outward).

Facial (CN VII)

Controls facial expressions such as smiling and brow wrinkling.

Vestibulocochlear (CN VIII)

Controls hearing and balance.

Glossopharyngeal (CN IX)

Responsible for gag reflex and swallowing.

Vagus (CN X)

Controls uvula rise when saying 'Ahhh'.

Accessory (CN XI)

Controls shoulder shrugging.

Hypoglossal (CN XII)

Controls tongue movement (sticking out tongue).
