Organ of vision components
eyeballs, lacrimal apparatus, and ocular muscles.
Sclera
Layer of the eyeball that contains extraocular muscles controlling eye movement.
Coroides
Its pigment absorbs luminica energy
Retina
Eyeball layer containing photoreceptor cells (rods and cones) that convert light into visual information.
Conos
Humor acuoso
Fluid contained in the anterior chamber of the eye whose function is to lubricate the crystalline lens.
Vitreous humor
Fluid contained in the posterior chamber of the eye that helps maintain the tension force of the eye.
Ciliary body
Structure that modifies the shape of the crystalline lens for focusing and secretes aqueous humor.
Iris
Structure responsible for eye color.
Pupila
Aperture that dilates or contracts depending on the stimuli it receives.
