The cell is very sluggish and does not have enough ATP to filter toxins

Mitochondria

The cell needs too divide so a scar can heal. However, the chromosomes cannot line up or move.

Centrioles

The cell's metabolism seem to be fine - all tests are positive. But the cell does not move around at all.

Flagellum

The cell cannot absorb any nutrients. Nothing seems to be getting into or out of the cell.

Plasma membrane

The cell has a lot of debris (junk) in its cytoplasm, and the amount of debris is toxic to the cells.

Lysosome

The cell lacks rigidity and tests show that it has low levels of pectin and cellulose.

Cell wall

No matter how much sunlight it gets, the cell cannot capture any energy.

Chloroplast

Tests show the cell makes proteins, but they are located in one area and cannot be used throughout the cell. When enzymes are made, the cell cannot secrete them

Endoplasmic reticulum

Tests show the presence of DNA, but this cell cannot make any proteins. Under the microscope, all of the ER is smooth

Ribosomes

The cell makes proteins, but never seems to store any. Under the microscope, the ribosomes are scattered everywhere.

Vesicles and vacuoles

When this cell reproduces, it makes deformed cells. Tests show the soil has cancer-causing chemicals in it. Under the microscope, DNA is seen everywhere in the cell.

Nucleus

This cell is getting old, but it does not reproduce. All of its components seem to be falling apart and cannot hold its shape.
