A model describing the spatial distribution of cities and services. Cities are located in a pattern that is efficient for trade and transportation.

Concentric Zone Model

A model of urban land use. Land values are highest in the central business district (CBD) and decrease as you move away from the CBD.

Gravity Model

A model predicting that interaction between places depends on their population size and distance between them. $Interaction = (population1 * population2) / distance^2$
