Cell theory
The concept that all living organisms are made of cells, and cells are the basic structure & functional unit of living organisms.
Eukaryotic cells
Cells that have a nucleus containing genetic material & membrane bound organelles.
Nucleus
Main organelle that contains DNA / chromosomes and controls cell activities.
Mitochondria
The house of power in the cell, which is the site of aerobic respiration and produces ATP.
Ribosomes
Organelles that serve as the site of protein synthesis.
Rough endoplasmic Reticulum [RER]
A main organelle found in eukaryotic cells.
