HOT OIL TREATMENTS
Describe a hot oil treatment.
A method of soaking all fingers in warm olive or almond oil for 15 minutes.
Blot off excess oil and gently push back the cuticles.
Why should you use a high quality vegetable oil and not a cheap mineral oil?
Mineral oil will not penetrate the skin.
Why do you heat the oil?
Warming the oil increases penetration into the skin.
What are the BENEFITS/EFFECTS of a hot oil treatment?

PARAFFIN WAX TREATMENT
Describe a paraffin hot wax treatment.
Treatment is luxurious and enjoyable and works by inducing natural perspiration which superficially hydrates the skin
A nourisihing cream is applied before the wax, creating a barrier, which stops the moisture escaping.
