Reflexive property
Every segment is congruent to itself

Definition of a midpoint
If a point is in the middle of a line segment, then the lengthy on either side of the midpoint are equal lengths

Angle Bisector
An object (line segment, ray, ect.) that splits an angle into two equal parts

Bisect
split in half
Segment Bisector
An object (line segment, etc) that splits a segment into two equal parts.

Perpendicular Bisector
An Object (line segment, etc..) that splits a segment into two equal parts AND it also forms a 90 degree angle on that segment, not from the vertex

Median
A line segment joining a vertex to the midpoint of the opposite side, thus bisecting that side. From the vertex and equal segments and is not 90 degrees

Altitude
The perpendicular line drawn from the vertex of the triangle to the opposite side. From vertex and 90 degree angle and not segments

segments
a straight line with 2 distinct end points
Complementary angles
two angles whose measures add up to exactly 90 degrees.
Supplementary angles
two angles whose measures add up to exactly 180 degrees

What is this?
Perpendicular bisector
