centre of gravity

an imaginary point at which the entire weight of an object appears act

centre of mass

a point through which any externally applied force produces straight-line motion but not rotation

point of suspension

the fixed pivot or point from which a freely hanging object or pendulum is suspended

point of intersection

the single point where the vertical lines ( drawn using a plumb line from different points of suspension ) cross over each other
