Malleus
Also known as the hammer, one of the auditory ossicles.

Incus
Also known as the anvil, one of the auditory ossicles.

Stapes
Also known as the stirrup, one of the auditory ossicles.

Auditory Ossicles
Transfer vibrations to conduct sound to hearing receptors in the inner ear.
Thyroid Cartilage
A large cartilage of the larynx, known as the Adam's apple, which helps protect the vocal cords.

Cricoid Cartilage
A ring-shaped cartilage of the larynx located below the thyroid cartilage, providing support and structure to the airway.

Epiglottis
This leaf-shaped cartilage flap covers the windpipe during swallowing to prevent food and liquid from entering the lungs.
Arytenoid Cartilages
These pyramid-shaped cartilages sit on top of the cricoid cartilage and pivot to control the tension, position, and movement of the vocal cords.

Corniculate Cartilages
These tiny, horn-like cartilages sit on the peaks of the arytenoid cartilages to help support and reinforce the posterior part of the larynx.

Cuneiform Cartilages
These small, club-shaped cartilages are embedded within the aryepiglottic folds to provide structural support for the surrounding soft tissues and vocal folds.

Hyoid bone
In the front of the neck. Supports tongue and plays a key role in speaking and swallowing.
