Mother Teresa
Mother Teresa didn't just serve the poor, but restored their human dignity by recognizing Jesus in the "distressing disguise of the poor." [1, 2]
She exemplifies the belief that simple, small acts of love and prayer are the easiest ways to honor individual dignity and bring joy to those who feel unwanted or lonely. [1]
