What are the essential features of a state? What makes them “essential”?

Population is the most essential feature of a state. An area with fixed boundaries, sovereignty over its territory, and a government that maintains order, provides public services, and enforces decisions that its people must obey is essential. Without these key components, there would be no order in a country, and there would be no laws or rules. The country wouldn’t be able to govern because it would be in such disarray.

On the other hand, if we only considered the minority, most of the population would have to change their daily lives to accommodate the same rights. Both parties need to be considered to make daily tasks accessible to the whole population.
