Resistance-type temperature indicators
Temperature indicators using Wheatstone bridge or ratiometer circuits that are used to indicate the temperatures of free air, carburetor air, coolant (engine), and oil.
Blue radial line (Airspeed indicator)
The marking on an aircraft airspeed indicator used to indicate the best rate-of-climb speed with one engine inoperative.
EFIS data signal conversion
The conversion of data transmitted between components in an Electronic Flight Instrument System (EFIS) into digital signals.
Takeoff warning system
A safety alerting system activated by a thrust lever whose primary purpose is to warn the flight crew if a monitored flight control is not properly set prior to takeoff.
Aircraft bonding connection hardware considerations
The essential criteria evaluated when selecting hardware for attaching bonding connections to an aircraft structure: mechanical strength, ease of installation, and the amount of current to be carried.
