The Dead Sea Scrolls
A collection of ancient Jewish religious manuscripts discovered in caves near Qumran between 1947 and 1956.
Contains biblical texts, religious laws, and writings about the end of the world, helping historians understand ancient Judaism.
Aniconism
The practice of avoiding images or visual representations of God or sacred figures in religious art.
Based on the belief that depicting the divine is forbidden or inappropriate.
War of Gog and Magog
A prophesied battle described in the Bible in which Gog and the forces associated with him fight against God's people.
It represents a major conflict between good and evil associated with the end times.
Book of Revelation
The final book of the Christian Bible: describes visions of the end times, the battle between good and evil, God's final judgment, and the creation of a new world.
It uses symbolic imagery such as beasts, angels, seals, and the Four Horsemen.
New Jerusalem
The holy city in the Book of Revelation that appears after the final judgment.
It represents a new, perfect world where God lives among humanity, free from suffering, death, and evil.
War Scroll
An ancient Jewish manuscript found among the Dead Sea Scrolls that describes an apocalyptic war between the forces of good and the forces of evil.
It explains how the "Sons of Light" will fight the "Sons of Darkness" in a final battle.
