No me gusta pasar las vacaciones con mis padres porque vivo con ellos y los veo durante todo el año, y por eso me gustaría pasar más tiempo con mis amigos

Creo que cuando realmente ya no quieres ir de vacaciones con tus padres porque te aburres, es el momento justo/oportuno para marcharte con tus amigos, aunque no sea lejos. Quizás a los 16 o 17 años es una buena edad, pero creo que depende de cada persona.

I think that when you really don't want to go on holiday with your parents anymore because you get bored, it's the right moment to go away with your friends, even if it isn't far. Perhaps about 16-17 is the ideal age, but I think that it depends on each person.
