Ocean Water

Undrinkable, salty water containing marine life that covers $70\%$ of the globe.

Ocean Water Uses

Uses include swimming, surfing, fishing, and creating fresh water through desalination.

Fresh Water

Clear water that supports fish and seagrass.

Hydrologic cycle

Also known as the Water Cycle, which consists of evaporation, condensation, and precipitation.

A M.A water storage reservoir.

The process of plants giving off water.

Falling rain/snow and condensation.

Flowing waters from falling water, also known as Surface Runoff.

Snowmelt

The process of snow melting.

The process where plants use water for "food".

Saturation

The point reached where water cannot be absorbed.

Infiltration

Water going down into the ground, also known as percolation.

Groundwater discharge

Water being pushed into the ocean.
