What is Force?

A force is a push or pull on an object

What normal Force?

The force from the ground supporting an object

What is Gravity?

The force drawing objects down towards earth

What is friction?

The force that resists motion when two surfaces rub together

What is Newton’s First Law Lotion?

An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion unless acted on by an unbalanced force 

What is Unbalanced Forces?

Forces that combine to create a net force that's not zero

What is balanced forces?

Forces that combine to crate a net force of zero

How do you find the net force?

By adding up all the forces acting on an object

What happens when unbalanced forces act on an object at rest?

I will start to move

What happens when unbalanced forces act on a moving object?

Its speed, direction, or both will change

What is Inertia?

The property of an object that causes it to resist any change in its state of motion.

What happened when Balanced Forces are in motion?

The object moving will continue at a constant speed
