How do I determine when N is sp³ or sp² and its lone pair?
Lone pair is able to resonate then that means the lone pair is occupying the p orbital and the N is sp²
If the lone pair is unable to resonate then that means the lone pair is occupying the hybrid orbital and the N is sp³ or sp² depending on if it already has a single or double bond.
