Atelectasis

Incomplete expansion or collapse of alveoli, resulting in poor gas exchange and symptoms like dyspnea and cyanosis.

Glasgow Coma Scale

An assessment tool to evaluate a patient's level of consciousness and neurologic status postoperatively.

Urinary Elimination Complications

Monitoring and assessing bladder distention and urine output, especially important post catheter removal.

Surgical Site Infection (SSI)
