Selfish love and pride - which should be balanced with caritas

Caritas

Love for others for the sake of God, and love to God - which shoul dbe in balance with Cupiditas

Concupiscence

A strong disire towards others which came from Adem and Eve

Love of God

Harony in human relationships (before the fall)

Akrasia

weakness of the will - which he belived ment internal conflict between two competing wills whihc happened after the fall

Divided will

The inner conflict of wanting two things at the same time e.g lust and spiritual desires

Post-lapsarian will

The human will after the fall, cant chose good on our own and damaged

Original Sin

The sin that everyone has becuase of Adam and Eve - not free

Massa peccati / Massa damnata

Mass of sin / condemned mass - the fallen human race after A&Es Orginial sin

Ontological State

A will that is changeable with free choice

Double death

The spiritual and physical + moral state that has been factured from the disobence of A&E

“Seminally present in the loins of Adam”

HUman nature and original sin are passed down in generations

Predestination

God chioce who would recieve the saving grave for eternal life before the world was created
