Tamaddun Majlis
A cultural organization formed at the University of Dhaka headed by Professor Abul Qasem on September 2, 1947, which unanimously decided to propose Bangla as a medium of education and court proceedings.

A point that stands directly opposite to any point existing on the Earth's surface through an imaginary line drawn through the Earth's center.
International Date Line
An internationally recognized imaginary line extending across the Pacific Ocean, drawn with reference to the 180∙ meridian of longitude, used to adjust calendar dates when traveling east or west.
Tsunami
Massive sea waves arising at heights of 15–20 meters generated when an underwater earthquake causes ocean waters to rush outward towards the shore.
Hydro-electricity
A form of renewable energy produced by using either the natural current of river water or a waterfall to turn a turbine.
Eve-teasing
A term used as a synonym for sexual harassment, defined as a man disturbing or irritating a woman in any place.
