The action of rotating the oropharyngeal airway 180 degrees after initial insertion so that it reaches its resting position.
Head Tilt-Chin Lift Technique
A practical airway management procedure performed to open the airway by tilting the patient's head back and lifting the jaw forward.
Head Tilt-Chin Lift: Step 1 (Head Tilt)
Place one hand on the patient's forehead and push with your palm to tilt the head back.
Head Tilt-Chin Lift: Step 2 (Finger Placement)
Place the fingers of the other hand under the bony part of the lower jaw, near the chin.

Lift the jaw to bring the chin forward.
