Toner Probe

• “Fox & Hound”

• Helps with finding the other end of a cable by generating a tone to the other end of the cable.

• A sound is played when the cable is found

Crimper

crimps connectors to twisted pair cables

Cable-Stripper

Used to remove cable shielding

Wi-Fi Analyzer

Tells you about your Wi-Fi signal to troubleshoot and understand your wireless network

Punch-down Tool

• looks like a screw driver

• used to connect or punch wires into a punch-down block and automatically cuts off excess wire

Cable Tester

• Used to verify continuity & to verify cables are arranged correctly.

• Both ends of the cable inserted

Loopback Plug

• used for for RJ45

• checks if there are problems with Ethernet ports or connection issues

• Output signals loopback into input signals to form a complete circuit

Network Tap

enables network administrators to get in the path of network packets for monitoring purposes and data traffic collection
