Left-Side Driving
Driving direction used in UK, Ireland, Australia, NZ, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, South Africa, India, and Kenya.
Right-Side Driving
Driving direction used in most of Europe, North America, South America, Mainland Asia, Middle East, and West Africa.
Sun Position in South
Solar orientation indicating that you are located in the Northern Hemisphere (North America, Europe, Asia, North Africa).
Sun Position in North
Solar orientation indicating that you are located in the Southern Hemisphere (Australia, NZ, Southern Africa, South America).
European Union License Plate
Long white plate with a blue strip on the left side containing the standard EU band and country initials.
Italy & San Marino License Plate
License plate featuring blue strips on BOTH left and right sides, with a shorter front plate.
Netherlands / Luxembourg License Plate
Bright yellow long license plate with a blue strip, present on both front and back of the vehicle.
United Kingdom License Plate
Vehicle plate arrangement with a white front plate and a mandatory yellow rear plate on all cars.
Colombia License Plate
Yellow license plates on almost ALL vehicles, with taxi and commercial vehicles also displaying side numbers.
Israel / Bhutan License Plate
Solid bright yellow plates on both front and back with no blue band.
United States / Canada License Plate
Short, rectangular plates with a centered design, where no front plate is required in many US states.
Yellow Center Lines
Road markings indicating traffic moving in opposite directions; used in Americas (US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Colombia) and Asia (Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Philippines), but almost NEVER in Europe (Norway and Israel are rare exceptions).
Solid Outer White Lines
Standard outer road line markings used across Continental Europe.
Dashed Outer Lines
Outer road line markings common in Scandinavian countries like Sweden and Finland.
Japan Utility Poles
Cylindrical concrete poles with black & yellow spiral protective covers at base, vertically attached street signs, and low-hanging transformers.
Brazil Utility Poles
Ladder-style concrete poles with square or rectangular hollow cutouts, frequently accompanied by red soil along road shoulders.
Chile Utility Poles
Concrete poles with rounded or octagonal bases tapering upward, combined with yellow center lines and Spanish signage with distinct blue street names.
Poland Utility Poles
A-frame / double concrete poles in rural farmland regions, accompanied by distinct white bollards with black slanted top and red reflector.
Greece Utility Poles
Wooden poles with distinct blue painted bands or metal tags near top, situated in mountainous Mediterranean terrain with Greek alphabet characters.
