Ignatius's Pilgrimage (Layer 1)
The stage where God calls Ignatius through books and discernment, and he responds by imitating Christ literally, traveling from Loyola, to Manersa, to Jerusalem.
Ignatius's Pilgrimage (Layer 2)
The stage where Ignatius feels a specific call to serve God through his individual vocation, centering on spiritual conversations and directing people in the Spiritual Exercises retreat (from Spain, to Paris, to Rome).
Ignatius's Pilgrimage (Layer 3)
The stage where Ignatius serves as superior general of the Jesuits in Rome, experiencing intimate, mystical encounters and finding God consistently through personal intimacy.

A legal way to make someone part of your family.
Sabbath Structure of Creation
The structural orientation of creation towards the worship of God, which constitutes right relations between creation and the Creator.
Dominion
Responsible authority over creation (Genesis 1:26, 28).
Lectio
The reading stage of prayer involving careful reading of the text, corresponding to the psychological faculty of the senses.
Meditatio
The meditation stage of prayer involving reflection on the text with the intention of increasing understanding and love and guiding action, corresponding to the intellect (understanding).
Oratio
The prayer stage of prayer involving speaking to God in one's own words and from one's own heart/desires, corresponding to the will (desire, emotions).
Contemplatio
The contemplation stage of prayer involving experiencing a share in God's transcendent knowledge and love that feels like delightful union with God, corresponding to the transcendent spirit.
Transcendent Spirit
The graced capacity to share in God's own knowing and loving.
Subject Matter of Theology
God and all things in relation to God.
