Peridox
The disinfectant agent used for transfers from Warehouse to CNC and from CNC to ISO8, requiring a dwell time of 3minutes.
sIPA
The cleaning agent used for all transfers within ISO-classified spaces and for wiping stainless steel surfaces after Peridox dwell time has been met.
MTL
The Material Transfer Locker where items are placed before being wiped with Peridox for transfer from Warehouse to CNC.
3 minutes
The required dwell time for materials and surfaces wiped with Peridox to ensure proper disinfection.
Slicks
Clothing donned for the CNC; personnel must ensure the shirt is tucked into the bottoms and long socks are worn.
"Dirtier" side
The side responsible for cleaning passthroughs; for example, CNC personnel perform the wiping when transferring to ISO8.
ABHR
Alcohol-Based Hand Rub used for hand hygiene during the garbing sequence.
Level 2 garbing
The requirement for ISO8 spaces (Kitting, Weigh/Mix) consisting of a fresh hairnet, non-sterile mask, and a non-sterile frock.
Level 3 garbing
The process for entering ISO7 and ISO5 areas, involving sterile mask, sterile hood, sterile coveralls, sterile boot covers, and sterile goggles.
ISO 7 Ante Room
The location where personnel don the sterile mask, hood, coveralls, boot covers, and goggles during the Level3 garbing process.
PEC
Primary Engineering Control (such as ISO5) where sterile gloves must be sanitized with sIPA before entry and materials must be wiped down before placement.
Double-wrapped material
Items where the outer wrapping is removed at the threshold of the ISO5 PEC after spraying hands with sIPA, while pulling the inner packaging into the PEC.
Sterile Garb Transfer Bin
A gray bin, typically used to transport sterile bags from the CNC to ISO8, which must be wiped inside and out with sIPA.
LOD
Line of Demarcation where plant shoes or shoe covers are applied when entering the CNC locker room.
